Ground ladder testing follows the 2010 edition of NFPA 1932, Standard on Use, Maintenance, and Service Testing of In-Service Fire Department Ground Ladders, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.

 

Ground ladder testing includes:

 

· Factory trained technicians.

· Removal of ladders from apparatus to testing area.

· Cleaning of all ladders.

· Inspecting in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and NFPA 1932.

· Testing in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and NFPA 1932.

· Installation of new heat sensor and safety labels on all ladders that pass and need labels.

· Repairs (if needed).

· Completion and delivery of computerized reports.
